Sign up and donate a unit of blood or 2 units of red blood cells (called "POWER RED" where plasma is returned). COVID precautions:1. Everyone must wear a mask2. Temperature checks are taken prior to giving blood3. Sanitizer is used4. Beds are wiped down after every use5. Computers are cleaned after every use.6. Bed are 6 feet apart
7. Donation is by a prescheduled appointment time

We need 20 people to sign-up and pack 100 gift boxes for moms who attend our local PRC Medical pregnancy center. The boxes include an invitation to join our Embrace Progam at the church where moms with unexpected / crisis pregnancies who choose life for their kids meet weekly for 12 weeks, are encouraged by women who have been through what they are going through, make new friends, and receive a baby shower in their honor.
COVID precautions:
Gift box packing will occur in small groups of 4-5 in different rooms in the church. Social distancing (6ft) will be maintained. People will have access to sanitizer and be encouraged to use masks.
FIRST RESPONDERS ----------FULL-------FULL------------
We want at least 20 people to sign-up and make a gift basket that can be delievered to our local First Responders in the police and fire service.
COVID precautions:
Baskets will be assembled at home. You will need:
1. A basket (available on amazon for $10-12 if you need one)
2. Packing paper
3. 10 apples
4. 5 bananas
5. 5 oranges
6. 30 +/- energy bars or comparable amount of cookies
7. Clear wrapping and ribbon to tie it
8. Card from the church thanking them for their service
Those who sign up will be given the address of a local fire station or police department and asked to deliver the baskets to that location on the morning of First Presence.

KEEP DOUGLASVILLE BEAUTIFUL - TRASH CLEAN-UP---FULL--
Serve the City of Douglasville by participating in their Keep Douglasville Beautiful program.
We need 8 people to pick up trash in one of our local parks on the morning of First Presence.
COVID Precautions: This project will be done in the open air and so you simply need to be careful of how close you get to other people who are not in your family.
FAITH IN ACTION -------------FULL-----------FULL-----------
Faith In Action is the local Christian charity that is responsible for Operation Christmas. It has been advised that the warehouse they currently occupy is being sold and that they need to move. They are considering a couple of offers from local business people in the community as new premises for their work.
We are being asked to spare any willing, able-bodied people to help with moving on August 8 and potentially before if possible.
